Hunter`s Rev XP 800R wins the SnowGoer Magazine
"Best Bang for the Buck" award at the Shoot-out
|
This past December at the
annual
SnowGoer Magazine Shootout in Woodgate, N.Y. Lee Hunter
piloted our 08 Rev XP 800R to a 9.7 second 95 mph run on the
1000 ft strip to capture the "Best Bang for the Buck" award from
the magazine. The run was two tenths of a second and three mph
faster than the best run of the comparable stock sleds there.
The sled was equipped with the Chuckaroo Performance Value kit,
which includes air box mods, Boyensen reeds, and a Chuckaroo
clutch kit. Installation and set-up was performed here by Kevin
Hunter.
This
was achieved early in the season with little or no testing time,
more variations for this kit have been done thru the winter

"The new Chuckaroo Value Kit improves performance over stock for a
modest investment. Engaging at 3,500 RPM, it cut 2-tenths of a
second and added 3 MPH over the best 1000-foot dealer prep run of
the comparable stock sled at the Shootout this year. This
performance gave it the Best Bang For The Buck Award in the Small
Displacement (800cc or close) Trail Mod class.
The package includes air box modifications, Boyesen reed valves, a
Chuckaroo clutch kit and chassis prep by Kevin Hunter. A kit
with billet heads and a pipe is also available". |
